Removing amalgam fillings

I have decided to get rid of my dental amalgams. I have only four amalgam fillings and the doctors I have seen don’t think it’s very likely that this is causing my problems. Still, it’s something that is quite easy to do. Who knows, it might help…
There are couple of reasons why I think amalgams might cause me problems:
- There are no hard limits for mercury exposure. Some seem to tolerate less than others.
- To feel ok I need to be “super healthy”. No coffee, candy, alcohol, junk food, must exercise consistently (but not too hard). It feels like something is stressing my body no matter how stress free I try to be.
- I have variety of symptoms and according to some this is common with mercury related illness.
- One symptom is a bit strange. Some time ago I heard about athlete who became very inflexible after he got amalgam fillings. I am also very inflexible. Stretching just doesn’t seem to increase my range of motion (I have tried a program inĀ stretching specific books and I stretch after all exercises).
- Constant tinnitus is another common mercury related symptom I have.
The dentist I have chosen has been doing amalgam removals for years and she is supposed to know how to do it without getting too much amalgam into my system…
The appointment is on December 16th. Once again, this might be it. I certainly hope it’s finally the magic bullet! I am running out of options (oh sure, I always have the “you are just born that way”).
